Curriculum for Memory Retention of Campus Resources

UM.Directory is an original resource for the Maryland advisors toolkit that I created and shared with a 100+ advisors at the University of Maryland's 28th Annual Advising Conference.

The resource is a customizable infographic that can be created from an advisor’s canned responses and shared with students to concisely illustrate organizations, resources, and supports on campus that are relevant to a student's major and interests.

UM. Directory can also be adapted as a semester-long assignment for a freshman seminar course. A printed, fillable handout for students is designed to facilitate student engagement with course content where they actively record the resources that are shared with them when they arrive on campus—these that can be challenging to retain with no method for tracking them.
